In order to bring a team approach to the science fair process, we are offering a weekend workshop designed for students to create projects to present at Super Science Saturday.
The 2017 weekend workshop dates are February 10th, and February 11th.
All workshops will be held in the George Washington Middle School Cafeteria, located at 155 Washington Place., Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
- Before the Workshop - Science volunteers will send you dozens of science projects for you to pick from OR you can choose your own! After you choose your project, a volunteer will communicate with you to approve your choice & discuss what materials you will need to bring for 2/10 and 2/11. Expect to speak with a volunteer 2/3, 2/6 or 2/7 so that you can be set for the workshop.
- Friday, February 10th 4:00-6:30pm - This day, you'll bring your materials for your experiment. We'll help you set up your project, answer your questions and guide you through the hard parts.
- Saturday, February 11th 10:00am-2:00pm - We'll help you lay out your presentation board and finish any last-minute details before the big day.
To sign up for this program, please contact Marika Reid at 201-300-2900 or at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday January 27th. The cost is only $25 - so please sign up quickly before all our spaces are gone!
If you can't make our weekend workshop, don't worry - we've collected hundreds of step-by-step science projects on our website for you to do at kidzone.
